Disciples Drop Food In The Night - " Bowls of Love "- Join Us
Whether it be on the docks of the waterfront or under the bridge at 18th street , disciples from the WCC drop food off on Third Wednesday evenings to individuals living on the street who may not have eaten and are hungry
Bowls of Love ministry grew out of our commitment to feeding and worshipping with the Hungry in Jersey City out on the streets. Bowls of Love has become central to our Justice actions.
We have fed hundreds of living out on the street. Won't you volunteer. We are always in need of volunteers. If you are interested in dropping food off to our city's hungry with us - fill out our contact form and leave us a note. Our community outreach minister - Martha Ramos will contact you.

World Aids Day
Waterfront Community Church Remembers , Will You?
Because of what we believe, we commit ourselves to be part of the global response to HIV and AIDS,
keeping our promise to stop the hurt it causes, recognizing our fragility and vulnerability,
but also knowing that we are instruments of light that comes from the One who came to give life, life in its fullness.
We commit ourselves to promote the development of sensitive, shared, informed and generous leadership,
capable of influencing faith communities and social politics in our country and beyond our borders.
We commit ourselves to open ourselves and our community and table , to provide welcoming places where people living with HIV and their loved ones, can find love, acceptance, understanding, a listening ear, support and growth.
We commit ourselves, from this moment forward, until God’s reign of health and life comes in its fullness.
