Who Are We?
              Everyday People!

Waterfront Community Church is a diverse community of everyday people who journey faithfully together in this life. We eat, sing, pray, serve and worship together  And we hang out in the public square and share, live and wrestle with our Christian faith.

 We are the church. We are people on the move with a "LOVE"  mission.
We have no building. We meet in various places around the waterfront. 

You may see us collecting food and feeding our city's homeless, you may see us on a pier praying with someone who  has a pressing need, you may see us grappling with the language of Scripture  over coffee  or you may see us engaging in outdoor public inspirational art actions.

 We are the church -bringing God's work through Our hands to the Waterfront Community, Jersey City. Your hands are welcome and needed.

Don Egan and Peggy Brockmann are the mission developers for this ELCA  faith community.

Waterfront Community Church is an emergent church start on the waterfront of Jersey City under the ELCA and ELCA Synod of New Jersey.   We are a new urban monastic community. We are believers who are moved by the Spirit to share, live and experience the transforming, reconciling and restoring Good News of Jesus Christ through mission.
