Revolution of Values
A true revolution of values will soon cause us to question the fairness and justice of many of our past and present policies. On the one hand we are called to play the Good Samaritan on life’s roadside, but that will be only an initial act. One day we must come to see that the whole Jericho Road must be transformed so that men and women will not be constantly beaten and robbed as they make their journey on life’s highway.
True compassion is more than flinging a coin to a beggar. It comes to see that an edifice which produces beggars needs restructuring.

Waterfront Community Church (ELCA)of Jersey City has created a community gathering space for knitters and crafters who use their hands for Good.
Knitting For Good is a space for inviting, sharing and deepening one's faith through thoughtful encounters while deepening connections to community, creativity and the fiber arts.
Join us for the fun! Men and Women invited. Experienced and beginners welcome. We will teach you the basics. Come and be in community for good!

Consider Sending A Kid to Crossroads Camp
Waterfront Community Church will be sending Jersey City youth to Crossroads camp in the mountains of New Jersey for a week.
The time away at camp allowed our youth to develop long lasting friendships with other youth from around the State.
It is also a wonderful time to develop a sense of the sacred and self while communing with God’s creation. An opportunity that is rare for most city kids.
