God's work. Our hands.
Waterfront Community Church assisted the City in counting the homeless this past month. A very important outreach because continued and new services for the homeless are based on the actual numbers of homeless out in the street. Here is a list of things you can do in the effort to assist homeless men and women in your community. We are called. God's Work . Our Hands. http://www.nationalhomeless.org/factsheets/you.html
This spring Waterfront Community Church will begin distributing food to the homeless and living on the street in Jersey City as part of our ongoing support to reducing hunger in our community. Join us as we take love into the streets and use our hands for the rehearsal of God's reign. We would love you to be on our mailing list. No Spam. We Promise. Just Good News! In the Bleak .....
In the bleak mid-winter
Frosty wind made moan,
Earth stood hard as iron,
Water like a stone;
Snow had fallen, snow on snow,
Snow on snow,
In the bleak mid-winter,
Long ago.
Our God, heaven cannot hold Him
Nor earth sustain:
Heaven and earth shall flee away
When He comes to reign:
In the bleak mid-winter
A stable place sufficed
The Lord God almighty
Jesus Christ
Enough for Him, whom cherubim
Worship night and day,
A breastful of milk
And a manger of hay:
Enough for Him, whom angels
Fall down before,
The ox and ass and camel
Which adore.
What can I give Him,
Poor as I am?
If I were a shepherd
I would bring a lamb;
If I were a wise man
I would do my part;
Yet what I can I give him
Give my heart,
Give, give my heart
Frosty wind made moan,
Earth stood hard as iron,
Water like a stone;
Snow had fallen, snow on snow,
Snow on snow,
In the bleak mid-winter,
Long ago.
